This season the Highsmen returns with a string of veteran players who play the game at full speed at both ends of the floor. The result is a +7.5 scoring margin, while averaging 48.5 ppg on 52.7 percent shooting. At the defensive end, Highsmen is limiting foes to a mere 41.0 ppg while outrebounding them by +6.0 boards per game. During last week's win over Drunken Ballers the Highsmen shot a stunning 52.8 percent from the field while connecting on 5-of-8 (63%) from beyond the arc. Two players topped double digits in the win for the Highsmen as Harley Pineda posted his first double-double of the season with a season high 18 points and a staggering 25 rebounds while fellow teammate Ramil Reyes tallied 17 points and 3 threes while hitting 6-of-6 at the charity stripe. As a team, Highsmen connecting on 11-of-14 (79%) from the charity stripe while dominating the glass, 47-36.

This season the Highsmen boast a duo of double-digit scorers as Harley Pineda is averaging 13.0 ppg along with an impressive 16.5 rpg while shooting 88% (7-of-8) from the charity stripe. Ramil Reyes handles the perimeter averaging 13.5 ppg along with 2.0 threes per game while shooting a solid 92% (11-of-12) from the charity stripe. As a team the Highsmen are averaging 5.0 threes per game while posting 7.0 spg.

Dunder Spliffin return this week after opening their season with a 39-37 win over team SlowTime. Dunder Spliffin shot  just 38.7 percent from the field while connecting on just 5-of-9 (56%) from three point range. Tim Yasuda led all scores for Dunder Spliffin as he posted an impressive 17 points, 3 threes, 3 steals, 2 assist and 5 rebounds. Fellow teammate Raymond Ricafort connected on 2-of-4 (50%) from the point range as he finished with 9 points, 2 assist and 5 rebounds while Obre Rivera pitched in 8 points and 5 rebounds. As a team, Dunder Spliffin connected on 4-of-8 (50%) from the charity stripe while dishing out 8 assist.

As for SMU, they enter this match-up with an 0-1 record after suffering a heart-breaking 53-52 loss to team Troll Time. Down 24-22 at the half,  SMU was unable to rally despite shooting an impressive 56.4 percent from the field in the second half. Despite the loss, Waleed Jamil had a solid performance for SMU as he poured in 14 points along with 7 rebounds while connecting on 5-of-6 from the free-throw line. Samuel Ou also posted solid number as he tallied 13 points, 2 assist and 6 rebounds while Brandon Feuntecilla added 8 points, 2 assist and 3 rebounds. As a team, SMU shot 58% (11-of-19) from the free-throw line while out-rebounding Troll Time, 31-26.
